Rome Fiumicino International Airport: move as soon as you arrive

Once you arrive at Rome Fiumicino airport, all you have to do is choose from the many transfer services available. If you have decided to visit the capital, you can consider using the Leonardo Express. It is a train available every 15 minutes which will take you to Rome Termini in about half an hour.

It is also possible to use the taxis available at the exit of terminal 1 or terminal 3. Costs vary. They depend on the area you need to reach and the number of people who are with you.

For example, if you are traveling as a couple, the cost to reach Termini station, the Vatican State or St. Peter's station is 50 euros. The fares for Tiburtina Station, Parioli or Corso Trieste are significantly higher.
Connections to other locations

Alternatively, you can consider taking the train (Frecciarossa or Frecciargento) directly from Rome Fiumicino station. The choice is optimal for reaching destinations such as:

Florence
Genoa
Venice

As for other cities, if the direct connection from Rome Fiumicino station is not available, the advice is to reach Rome Termini station using the Leonardo Express.

From the Roma Termini station it is then easy to take a train to visit other cities such as: Florence, Bologna, Venice, Naples. Roma Termini Station is the largest in Italy, from here trains leave for every part of Italy.
