Even though it is considered to be the central beach of the island of Procida, Chiaia Beach is at the same time the most isolated one. In fact, this little paradise, which is largely a free beach, can be reached in two ways: on foot or by sea. On foot you will reach it by going down a stairway of 186 stairs located in an alley that starts from Piazza Olmo, or by passing Via dei Bagni from Piazza San Giacomo.
The gaze is lost among the many wonders that surround one of the most beautiful beaches of Procida: on the right side - the rocky cliff, on which you can see some houses of typical island architecture and on the other side – Marina Corricella, the oldest area of Procida, a small fisherman’s bay, consisting of colorful houses set between the rock and the high ground on which Terra Murata stands and that is the oldest area of Procida, where the blue sea plays the main role.
The Chiaia Beach is a big sand tongue at the end of which there are two small establishments, one of which in addition to a bar has great restaurant service with a perfect view on this magnificent panorama.
